If you are reading this, I assume either you already have an Instant Pot or you are planning to get one. So why not also get some Instant Pot accessories to go with it?
I use Instant Pot on a daily basis. It's my everyday cooker. As I'm using it so regularly, I also bought some of its accessories which make Instant Pot even more useful for my everyday cooking.
Here is a list of 10 Instant Pot accessories that I use a lot. Hope this helps!
INSTANT POT ACCESSORY 6QT/ 8QT- POT IN POT (PIP)
Pot in Pot (PIP) is the accessory I use a lot. I make lentils in the main inner pot of Instant Pot, in the lower pot of PIP, I make some dry veggie side dish and in the second PIP, the pot I make rice. So it gets pretty convenient in making everything all together, compared to making everything in different utensils. Sometimes, I also make yogurt in these pots, gives the curd a nice thick texture.
2. Guestway Pressure Cooker Trivet Pot Pan Cooking Stand Food
Sometimes, while making lentils and rice, I don't want my rice container to get spoiled with lentils all over. Though Instant Pot comes with trivet that is very small. This is one of many Instant Pot Accessories that is very helpful. I use that while steaming veggies. I use this more often while making lentils or beans with rice. When I add just one pot in my inner pot, this trivet stand is pretty helpful.
3. GENUINE TEMPERED GLASS LID, 9IN
Sometimes while sauteing or using a slow cooker setting, a glass lid is needed. This is a tempered glass lid for clear viewing and has a steam vent. It makes the task easy. While sauteing I don't want the liquid to splutter all around, so it's pretty handy to avoid that mess. You cannot saute while closing with the main lid of the Instant Pot, so this accessory is pretty nice to have.
4. HATRIGO STEAMER BASKET
This is a nice steamer basket to steam all the veggies. This is one of many Instant Pot Accessories that is very helpful for steaming large quantity of veggies. Though you can also place veggies to steam over the trivet, to steam larger quantity of veggies, I use
5. HIWARE 7 Inch NON-STICK SPRINGFORM PAN
Making cheesecake in Instant Pot turns out totally awesome. So if you want to make it, then this springform pan is a must. I haven't made any cheesecake earlier, but after getting Instant Pot, I made it 2-3 times. And every time it turns out great. This is a leak-proof pan so you can make any cake in it. I even make dhokla in it.
6. GENUINE INSTANT POT SEALING RING
Sometimes when you cook food that has strong smell, even after wash, the sealing ring still has the smell of earlier meal. So it's better to have some extra sealing rings to avoid the smell of the previous meal in your current food. I have different sealing rings for different items: one for desserts, one for lentils and so on.
7. IMMERSION HAND BLENDER
This the most handy tool for Instant Pot. I use it frequently for grinding all the masala. In Indian cooking, most recipes require making onion- tomato masala, I don't like grinding every time in my mixer- grinder. This is one of many Instant Pot Accessories that is very helpful. It's a small tool that grinds the masala smoothly and doesn't add a lot of utensils to wash.
8. AOZITA MULTIPURPOSE STACKABLE EGG STEAMER
No one wants to boil eggs in pressure cooker, but believe me when I say, boiling eggs in Instant Pot makes the task a lot easier. The shell of eggs easily gets removed, and you get perfectly boiled eggs. If you want to boil whole lots of eggs, then this egg steamer trivet is a must. You can boil 18 eggs using it in one go.
9. SET OF 2 GRIPPING CLIPS FOR MOVING HOT PLATE OR BOWLS WITH FOOD OUT
This is a good item to get to remove a pot, or trivet, or steamer basket. Earlier the task was hard, because every time I tried to take a pot out, it used to flip or lose balance. This is one of many Instant Pot Accessories that is very helpful. With this, I can easily take the pots out without a problem. I highly recommend that you get this one.
10. BONBO SILICONE EGG BITES MOLDS
Last one my list is these egg bite molds. These are perfect for baked eggs, or small egg frittatas, or small brownies, etc. I just add different veggies in different molds and add egg over them with some seasoning, and pressure cook them. I don't use it a lot but sometimes when I need something to make in bite-size, I use them.
