EASY AIR FRYER SHISHITO PEPPERS

These air fryer Shishito Peppers are not only easy to make but also totally irresistible. These delicious finger food are vegan, keto, & a perfect snack for any time of the day. Taste great with a sprinkle of salt & lemon juice.

Ingredients
  

Shishito Peppers

  • 6 oz Shishito Peppers
  • 1 tablespoon Oil/ Butter or Cooking Spray
  • Salt as needed
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon Juice

Dipping Sauce

  • 3 tablespoon Greek Yogurt or Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • Salt & Peppers

Instructions
 

Air Fryer Shishito Peppers:

  • First, wash the shishito peppers in the running water. Then drain the water out. Using a paper towel, pat dry the shishito peppers.
  • Spray cooking spray to the peppers and mix them properly so that the shishito peppers are properly coated.
  • Preheat the air fryer for 3 minutes at 400 degrees F. Then line the shishito peppers in the air fryer basket.
    (Note: do not overcrowd the air fryer basket, instead work in batches).
  • Close the air fryer, and air fry the shishito peppers for 8-10 minutes at 400°F.
    (Note: Keep rotating the peppers for even cooking).
  • Remove the shishito peppers from the air fryer basket & sprinkle some salt & lemon juice & mix evenly.

Dipping Sauce

  • In a bowl, add Greek Yogurt, Garlic, powder, Salt, and Lemon Juice. Whisk all the ingredients until well combined, and it is smooth & creamy.

Notes

SOME TIPS
  1. Add some oil/ butter for a crispier texture to the peppers. If you don't want to add too much oil or butter, then just use cooking spray.
  2. When air frying, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket, you can work in batches.
  3. Add some kosher salt to the peppers, as tastes much better with some lemon juice.
  4. Serve with Aioli, Soy Sauce, or Greek Yogurt Ranch.
