Add a generous layer of peanut butter. Top it with sliced bananas and sprinkle some cinnamon powder. You can also drizzle some honey or maple syrup (for extra sweetness).
HUMMUS WITH CUCUMBER & TOMATOES
Add your choice of hummus (classic hummus/ cilantro jalapeno hummus). I also like Trader Joe's 3-layer hummus dip for this special toast. Then top it with sliced cucumber and tomatoes (you can also add some olives). Sprinkle some feta cheese, and enjoy!
PESTO WITH ROASTED CHICKPEAS
First, roast the chickpeas with a bit of oil in a pan. Then, add your choice of seasoning (I have used buffalo sauce), but you can flavor it with some spices.Tip: To flavor the chickpeas: you can use hot sauce, gochujang sauce, etc. I love to add cajun, and chili lemon pepper too in roasted chickpeas.
Add pesto (of your choice) on toasted bread. Then top it with roasted chickpeas and Salt & Peppers. You can also garnish with some chopped parsley.
PERI-PERI WITH ROASTED SWEET POTATOES
First, roast them (either in the oven or in the air fryer). Then, cut them into bite-size pieces. You can also steam/ boil them.
Add them to a pan with oil and add your choice of spices. I like to use garam masala and cumin powder to it. Add peri-peri sauce to toasted bread. Topped with sweet potatoes,, and enjoy!(Note: If you cannot find peri-peri sauce, you can use any other sauce of your liking. Green Chutney and chimichurri sauce also work great.
AVOCADO TOAST WITH EGGS
Mash avocado in a bowl and add lemon juice and, salt & peppers.
Toast the bread and add a generous layer of mashed avocado. Topped it with boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, poached eggs, or fried eggs. Add some spices (red chili powder, cumin powder, and garam masala powder) or any other spices (of your choice).
