Sesame Noodles are simple yet one of the most popular street noodles. These are made by combining noodles with Asian Peanut Sauce. This can be served hot or cold & you can pair them with your favorite Tofu recipe. And it can be served in under 15 minutes, that includes preparation time too.
Break the noodles in half and add in the Instant Pot. Cover them with water and don't overfill the pot with water.(Note: Try to layer the noodles in a single layer.)
Close lid and pressure cook for 1 minute. Once the timer beeps, then Quick Release by turning the vent in the venting position.(Note: For Noodles like Soba, Udon, Lo Mein, etc., cook for 1 minute, For Spaghetti or Linguine, cook for 4 minutes)
Once pressure is released, then open the lid. Strain the remaining water out of the noodles and run in the cold water. Toss some sesame oil in the noodles.(Note: If noodles are sticking, separate once they cool down).
Meanwhile, as noodles are cooking, whisk remaining Sesame Oil, Soy Sauce, Rice Vinegar, Chili Oil, Sesame Paste, Peanut Butter, Brown Sugar, Ginger, and Garlic in a bowl.
Pour the sauce over the noodles and toss. Transfer in a bowl and garnish with green onions, peanuts and some toasted sesame seeds.
Before pressure cooking, layer the noodles in a single layer.
Cover the noodles with water and don't overfill the pot with water.
You can use any noodles for making this recipe like Soba, Udon, Lo Mein, Spaghetti, or linguine, etc.When using noodles, pressure cook for 1 minute.When using Spaghetti or Linguine, pressure cook for 4 minutes.After pressure cooking, strain the remaining water and toss some sesame oil in the noodles.
